SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – November 30, 2007 – Contexo Media today announced the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Dorland Healthcare Information (DHI), a leading information provider to the professional healthcare case management community. DHI has provided healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, nurses, case
managers, and other members of the care coordination team with an extensive suite of Enewsletters, magazines, directories, continuing education programs and Internet products for over 50 years. Its leading products include Case in Point magazine and the Case Management Resource Guide, both of which are official publications of the Case Management Society of America (CMSA).

2007 Case Management Salary and Trends Survey
Detailed charts and analysis reveal how salaries measure up across the nation.

Philadelphia, PA - October 29, 2007Case in Point Magazine announced the release of its 2007 Case Management Salary and Trends Survey. Presenting professional demographics from more than 1,290 respondents across the nation and throughout the continuum of care, the Survey provides a snapshot of the practice and its prevailing trends. Anne Llewellyn, RN-BC, MS, BHSA, CCM, CRRN, Editor-in-Chief of case management products and services at Dorland Healthcare Information, analyzed and compiled the results in an easy-to-follow summary. The results display the recent growth and evolvement of the case management profession. The survey also identifies growing trends that need to be addressed in order to ensure a continued growth of the practice. “Areas such as cultural diversity, clinical competency and recruitment and retention efforts need to be developed in a creative manner to ensure the practice meets the growing demands of the diverse consumers of health care,” says Llewellyn. The survey allows for leaders of the practice, as well as grassroots case managers, to examine their internal practices and develop plans to improve strategies and the effectiveness and efficiencies throughout the continuum. “I am excited that we had such a strong response to the 2007 Survey,” Llewellyn says. “It shows that there is a need for the information. The 2007 Survey will be used as a benchmark that we can use going forward to track and trend the progress of the practice.”
